Masses for Deceased Brothers

“We pray today for those members of this Association who have gone before and live in the certain knowledge that others will pray for us when our time comes”

When a Brother dies his Circle will organise one, often two, Requiem Masses for the happy repose of his soul. Each year virtually every Province and Circle will gather for a Mass dedicated specifically for their Deceased Brothers. The surviving Widows are special guests at those Masses.

Prayers are said at every meeting too – often accompanied by the reading out of all the names of Brothers in that Circle who have died over the years with special reference to recent deaths and also of those from Circles around the world as notified in the Catena magazine.
